Incorporated in 1961, San Juan is a city of approximately 30,000 that still revolves around the mission and the centrally located business district. San Juan Capistrano is a community still evolving after more than 220 years. Much of its architecture is still influenced by the use of red clay tile roofs and stucco walls, reminiscent of early California design. From multi-acre equestrian estate homes, gated enclaves overlooking a golf course, to reasonably priced condos, San Juan Capistrano has something for everyone.
